Iron Man 2: Too Awesome!

Let me say. I had a geekasm the size of Mt. Rushmore. As a die-hard comic fan for over 30 years, I'm always impressed at what the state of today's technology, has done for live action productions. The realism of the effects have given me what I'd always dreamed these characters could look like in real action. Iron man 2 picks up right where IM1 ended, with Stark confessing to the world his secret identity. Just this act alone bridges the gap of the equivalent of 100's of comics, in terms of a long story arc. Without spoiling too much, this is basically a revenge piece, perpetrated by Whiplash, portrayed by the excellent Mickey Rourke. All the actors turn in great performances, and the action is well timed and paced. You have to hang around after the ending credits to get a comic-themed surprise. I will have to give this movie 4 out of 4 stars, it totally rocks!
